Commitment
Accessibility
We are committed to making contrailrisks.com usable for everyone. This statement explains our current conformance status and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Our Commitment
ContrailRisks UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We are working towards conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continually review and improve the user experience for everyone, and apply relevant accessibility standards wherever possible.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content does not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
This statement was prepared in April 2026 based on a self-assessment of the site.
Technical Specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5 with semantic landmark elements
- CSS3 (Tailwind CSS) for layout and visual presentation
- JavaScript / React 19 for interactive components
- ARIA roles and attributes where native semantics are insufficient
- Framer Motion — animations respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion media query
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:
- Hero videoThe background video in the hero section has no audio and is purely decorative. Autoplay is muted. Users who prefer reduced motion will not see the slow-zoom animation.
- Third-party embedsThe embedded map (OpenStreetMap via iframe) is provided by a third party and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We have included a text alternative with our full address.
- Focus indicatorsSome interactive elements may have insufficient visible focus indicators in certain browser / OS combinations. We are actively improving this.
